Towards whom was this directed?
Let's expand the topic to newly discovered and "easy to make delicasies".
The hamburger breakfast melt (this may sound gross to some but it is actually scrumpdilyicious):
Take one grilled hamburger
Take one or two egg omelet with choice of veggies
Take your choice of toasted bread
Throw together with melted cheese on the grill (hot sauce optional)
Well, thar ya go! Homemade and better 'an any breakfast sammich that I've had anywhere ... well, except for the "mom n' pop" restaurant that originally served it to me.

I don't know if this counts as "easy to make", but I'll throw it out there nonetheless because ever since I discovered it, it's become a fave weekly tradition at the house:
Ingredients:
- Pork chops. You can use chicken, too, but I think pork chops are better.
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup white wine
- 1 can of canned mushrooms (or fresh if you have 'em, but canned work just as well)
- Olive oil
- The basics - salt, pepper
Directions:
- Combine milk, wine and soup in a bowl. Mix it, and set it aside for a few.
- Put olive oil in skillet on stove-top at about medium-high
- Dash of salt, pinch of pepper, little bit of garlic salt if you have it handy and like the taste of garlic.
- Add the chops, flipping over after about 4 minutes per side. Should have a nice tannish color to them.
- Turn the heat down to low.
- Do a quick re-mix of the soup, wine, milk mixture and add the mushrooms
- Pour the mixture over the chops in the pan
- Cover, and let simmer for about 30 minutes. Just walk away from it and let it do it's thing.
Yummy, yummy food. The perfect side dish is Stove Top Stuffing for pork, which you put on the plate, put the chops on and then cover in the liquid. Be prepared for a food coma to take place within 15 minutes of consumption. :D

As we all know, tastes change from childhood to adult years. Being the little "non-mushroom liking" prick I was at the time, I would pick the mushrooms out of the meal. I later later learned to like the dish in its entirety.

INGREDIENTS
6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
DIRECTIONS
Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the barbeque sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chicken.
Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.
I use this for sammiches. I usually shred the chicken at the end of cooking time and put it back in the crockpot, mix it up and let it heat all back up. Spread some olive oil on some hamburger buns, broil 'em for a few and then fill with chicken. Also use fat free Itallian dressing, 'cuz ya just can't tell the difference.
